Being a member of AEGEE is different from "traditional" student societies. This is because AEGEE is an open society without freshmen ragging, and has lots of opportunities to develop yourself. Next to weekly drinks and other activities, year clubs and committees which you also find in other student societies, we also organize congresses , trips and fun summer holidays with other students from all over Europe.
